Ending Youth Homelessness

Thursday, May 22, 2025 - 1:30:00 PM until

Today in Scotland there is a growing homelessness crisis, and our young people deserve better. Last year, over 7,000 young people were assessed as homeless in Scotland and people between 16-25 continue to be the most overrepresented age group in homelessness statistics.

At this event, you will learn about good practice from specialist youth organisations and services in Scotland and hear from young people how frontline workers and services can best support them.

This interactive online event will include a mix of presentations from speakers and discussions in breakout rooms where you can share good practice and challenges from your own work when it comes to addressing homelessness among young people.

This event is co-hosted by the Scottish Frontline Network, Cyrenians and Rock Trust.

NB: The event will take place on Teams. You will receive a link and joining instructions closer to the date.

Rock Trust is Scotland’s youth homelessness charity. Their long-term vision is to end youth homelessness, and our immediate mission is to ensure that every young person in Scotland has access to expert, youth-specific services so that they can avoid, resolve and move on from homelessness for good. As well as providing supported accommodation and help to access housing, we support young people to build the skills, confidence and resilience they need to make positive and healthy transitions to adulthood. We also work to ensure that the public, policy makers, commissioners and practitioners understand the issues, make decisions and take action which will help us to end youth homelessness. Find out more here

The Scottish Frontline Network is facilitated by Cyrenians, an organisation dedicated to tackling the causes and consequences of homelessness. The Scottish Frontline Network supports those working on the frontline in Scotland with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
