The 2026 Migrant Homelessness Learning Symposium is a one-day in-person event held in east London. The event is for frontline workers across the UK who encounter people in the immigration & asylum system who are experiencing homelessness.

The day will contain a range of learning sessions on migrant homelessness issues facilitated by those with expertise and practical knowledge of the issues.

There will be plenty of opportunities for networking, sharing knowledge and asking questions.

Sessions confirmed so far include:

  • Accommodating undocumented migrants - lessons from Europe
  • Supporting migrants in temporary accommodation
  • Talking about migration and homes
  • Practical responses to refugee homelessness
  • Responding to the risk from the far right
  • So I'm trauma-informed, now what?
  • The migrant homelessness census

The day will also include a drama production from IceandFire.

Lunch included and refreshments throughout the day.
