Arch Healthcare and the Brighton & Hove Frontline Network are hosting the fifth Homeless Health Conference in Brighton on Wednesday 9th October 2024.

This year's event will take place at The Clarendon Centre, Brighton. The venue has step free access, if however, you have any accessibility requirements that you would like us to be aware of, or have any questions, please contact anja.mclean@nhs.net. (We are able to arrange for BSL signers at the event - please do let us know in advance if this is something you require.)

This free event will provide a valuable opportunity for professional development and improve awareness of the reality that people facing homelessness in Brighton and Hove experience, including commonly related health issues and exploring the types of support available locally.

An update for attendees will be provided nearer the time regarding the full schedule and list of topics and sessions for the day. (We'll also be updating the conference web page here as sessions are confirmed).

In the meantime, we look forward to welcoming you on the 9th October.

Who is the conference for?

- People working or volunteering on the frontline with those experiencing homelessness in the city

- GPs, surgery staff and medical teams

- Anyone working or engaging with the homeless sector (project managers, local authority commissioners, local councillors etc.)

What will be covered?

- Practical advice and guidance from Arch clinicians and other local professionals on a range of mental and physical health issues.

- Information about Brighton & Hove services supporting the health and wellbeing of those facing homelessness

- Discussions, workshops and networking opportunities

(Timetable and session topics will be confirmed and shared shortly)

What’s the cost?

- It’s FREE! And includes lunch!

(Please note that there will be a £50 charge to those who do not turn up and fail to cancel their booking within 24 hours of the start of the event. We expect to have a waiting list as we have with previous years and want as many people to be able to attend as possible.)
