Scottish Frontline Network: Uncovering hidden homelessness

Wednesday, May 25, 2022

This event explores hidden homelessness among older adults, disabled people and members of the Armed Forces community.

Are you a frontline worker who support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness? Do you want to learn more about how to best support older adults, disabled people and members of the Armed Forces community? Then join our online networking event with Housing Options Scotland!

Housing Options Scotland have almost 25 years of experience supporting disabled people, older adults and members of the Armed Forces community to find the right home in the right place. Their newly started Homeless Housing Options project offers advice, information and support to members of those communities who are facing homelessness.

We are going to focus on hidden homelessness among these groups, and you will learn how to identify signs of hidden homelessness. We will also hear about the work of Housing Options Scotland and how they working closely with local authorities across Scotland to better support these groups.

The event is going to be interactive and will have time for questions and discussions in groups.

This event is being hosted by the Scottish Frontline Network. The Scottish Frontline Network is facilitated by Cyrenians, who are a proud partner of the Frontline Network. The Scottish Frontline Network supports those working on the frontline with people experiencing homelessness.

If you have any questions please contact Ursula Hofeldt at ScottishFrontlineNetwork@cyrenians.scot
