Housing First across the UK

Thursday, August 27, 2020

Housing First helps to provide support and accommodation to people who have experienced homelessness. Secure accommodation and open-ended, person centred support are key to Housing First approaches. The number of Housing First services across the UK is increasing, as well as Housing First approaches being spoken about as part of the coronavirus response.

We are working with Homeless Link to put on a series of Housing First events across the first 3 weeks of November. These events will focus on issues that frontline workers face in their day-to-day roles, as well as providing a space for staff to connect and share best practice.
The Tuesday events are webinar events, with Thursdays being more interactive and using breakout rooms to provide a space for staff to discuss their work with each other.
