EU Settlement for Non-Immigration Advisers
EU Settlement for Non-Immigration Advisers
EU Settlement for Non-Immigration Advisers
Praxis Community Projects
1.45pm - 4.30pm
Praxis Community Projects, Pott St, London, E2 0EF
All migrants who are EEA Citizens or in the UK on the basis of an EU law right must register with the EU Settlement Scheme. For many EEA nationals who have previously been unable to access public funds in the UK the Scheme gives an opportunity to improve their situation.
This event seeks to ensure that frontline workers understand what making an application under the EU Settlement Scheme entails, what assistance can be offered by a person who is not regulated to give immgration advice and at what point 'assistance' is in danger of becoming 'immigration advice'.
There will also be a presentation by Gemma Croome-Cooper of the OISC on their 'light-touch' new initiative enabling organistations to register to provide level 1 immigration advice solely on the EU Settlement Scheme.
This is a Pan-London Migrant Frontline Network event.
You can register for the event here.
