DLUHC announce £28m to support vaccinations and emergency accommodation

On the 20th of December the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities announced £28 million of funding to help to increase vaccine uptake among people who are homeless and sleeping rough and provide emergency accommodation. This funding will be allocated to councils across England.
The funding will support the delivery of mobile vaccinations where people are sleeping on the streets, outreach work in shelters to educate people about the dangers of the virus, and provide money to councils to provide safe and secure accommodation while their level of vaccination is increased.
