This free 2-hour training will explore the key mental health diagnoses frontline staff might encounter during the course of their work with people experiencing homelessness. The session will also explore the medical model of mental health, contrasting this with lived experience and personalised approaches to mental health understanding and treatment. The training will be delivered by Brett Grellier Psychology Services

This event is part of the South Yorkshire Frontline Network and as such it is open and free for staff working with people experiencing homelessness in the public, voluntary and statutory sectors within South Yorkshire (Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham).

This event theme has been developed from feedback that frontline staff in South Yorkshire have told us they would find most helpful to explore. If you would like to tell us about future sessions we should run - please complete this short survey here.
