Frontline Network Wales: Mid and West Wales meet-up
Frontline Network Wales: Mid and West Wales meet-up
Frontline Network Wales: Mid and West Wales meet-up
After a short break, the Frontline Network Wales regional meet-ups are back and starting next week! This round will cover a wide range of topics.
Firstly, we would like to update you on the work we have been doing on the cost of living crisis. The feedback you gave us at the last meet-ups and through our survey has helped us to campaign and try to influence policy decisionmaker.
Secondly, the main section of the meet-up will be taken over by a conversation about rapid rehousing and access to accommodation.
Some of the questions we would like to ask at the meet-up are:
- What are currently the biggest barriers accessing accommodation for the people you support?
- Is the cost of living crisis having an effect on the housing market in your area?
- In your mind, what are the biggest barriers to overcome to fully roll out rapid rehousing in Wales?
- Is there enough multi-agency support, such as mental health or substance use services, to go alongside rapid rehousing for the people you support?
Please note: These meetings are specifically for frontline staff, not managers. We want to create a space for frontline staff to be able to speak openly and honestly about their views and experiences - and we ask that managers respect this and do not attend.
These meet-ups will be informal chats over Microsoft Teams with other frontline workers and staff from Cymorth Cymru. All conversations will be confidential and we aim to create an open and welcoming environment.
Please register below and encourage your frontline colleagues to join!
