Solace are delighted to invite you to the launch of the 2023 Women’s Rough Sleeping Census Report, authored by Change Grow Live. Following its initial delivery in 2022, the census took place again in 2023 and has grown even further, being delivered in an additional 14 additional local authorities across England and collecting 815 survey responses from women experiencing rough sleeping across the country.
This online webinar will highlight new findings, innovative approaches and national recommendations from the census this year that seek to address the systemic inequalities faced by women who sleep rough.
Chaired by Homeless Link, the webinar will also introduce local authorities to discuss their experiences of delivering the census and what the results have enabled them to do. We will also hear from a representative from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, we’ll explain how you could deliver the census in your area, and we’ll ask you to join our calls to action.
No woman should experience rough sleeping and the devastating associated risks. Whether you design, deliver or commission services for this client group, this event will provide valuable insights into how, in collaboration, we can all increase safety and improve outcomes for women experiencing rough sleeping.
