Training Opportunities in Wrexham

Are you a frontline worker in Wrexham? We want to hear from you!

The Frontline Network will be carrying out a series of events for frontline workers in Wrexham, and we want you to shape the even themes and training focus. If you are based outside of Wrexham, and would like to travel in for these, then we would love to hear your thoughts too!

At the Frontline Network, we work across the UK to help support frontline workers working with people experiencing homelessness. We bring together frontline staff from the public, voluntary and statutory sectors, from prison in reach staff, drug and alcohol support workers, mental health teams through to housing options, floating support and housing provider staff.

We have previously worked in North Wales with Kaleidoscope, organising events focussing on frontline worker wellbeing and Universal Credit. These events enable you to network, share experience and learning with other frontline workers in your area, as well as engage with local decision-makers.

Earlier this month we facilitated an Acquired Brain Injury Training for frontline workers with Leigh Andrews of Change Communication in Wrexham. Moving forward, we will be holding additional events in Wrexham.

Tell Us Your Views

We need your help to help us to do this. We want the events and themes to be steered by you, to tell us what would support and benefit you in your frontline roles To help us do this, it would be great if you could take 5 minutes to complete this short survey. This will help us to see events you would like us to run and to ensure you are able to shape these.

Please also sign up to our newsletter to receive regular news and information about events we will be holding. You can sign up to the newsletter here.

Register to the Frontline Network

We also provide other resources and funding to support you in your frontline roles in our funding Community and resources sections on our website. You just need to be registered with the Frontline Network- it’s free to join and takes a couple of minutes. If you are not a member, you can join here. Anyone who is a paid frontline worker supporting people experiencing homelessness can join.

If you have any questions on our work in Wrexham or the wider Frontline Network, please do not hesitate to contact us at frontline@stmartinscharity.org.uk
