Get Started Packs
AWARD: £7920
AIM:
Ayr Housing Aid Centre, established in 1987 is a registered charity helping over 1,000 South Ayrshire residents with housing issues each year. A major part of the Centre’s work is to provide advice, information, advocacy, representation to prevent homelessness and tenancy sustainment. As part of our work supporting new tenants Service Users were often unable to afford essential items in the first few months of setting a new home. This could leave them feeling overwhelmed and unable to make a start turning their house into a home. This project will enable new tenants to “Get Started” in their new home by being able to clean, decorate and cook and quickly turn their house into a home they can take pride in.
