Frontline Network Wales: Mid and West Wales meet-up
Frontline Network Wales: Mid and West Wales meet-up
This meet-up will provide a space for frontline homelessness, housing & support workers in Mid and West Wales to share their views.
On 6th May the people of Wales elected 60 Members of the Senedd to represent them over the next 5 years. We want to hear your views about what they should be doing to support frontline workers, reduce homelessness, ensure people have the support they need.
We'll capture your views in a report and share it with Members of the Senedd and Welsh Government Ministers. We'll also make you aware of resources, training and funding opportunities.
This event is open to frontline homelessness and housing support staff* working in third sector organisations, housing associations and local authorities in Camarthernshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys.
These meetings are specifically for frontline staff, not managers. We want to create a space for frontline staff to be able to speak openly and honestly about their views and experiences - and we ask that managers respect this and do not attend.
These discussions will be informal chats over Microsoft Teams with other frontline workers and staff from Cymorth Cymru. All conversations will be confidential and we aim to create an open and welcoming environment.
*How do we define a 'frontline worker'?
The Frontline Network defines ‘frontline worker’ as a paid worker, who directly supports people who are experiencing homelessness. This includes those working in the Voluntary, Statutory, and Public sectors. Frontline staff work in roles including outreach, housing, social work, and probation.
