The enforcement of social distancing and isolation regulations creates a perfect environment for domestic abuse to escalate and presents additional challenges for those who need support to escape their situation. The webinar includes:
- The guidance regarding domestic abuse during the social distancing and isolation requirements
- Defining domestic abuse and the Care Act 2015 guidance
- Common signs and symptoms of domestic abuse and how to identify it over the phone
- Supporting customers to identify an abusive relationship
- Responding to disclosures and requests for help
- Support available during the restrictions
Please note-there are a total of 18 places available on each webinar session.
Spaces will initially be limited to 1 per organisation on a first-come-first-served basis to benefit a wider group of participants.
