We are excited to announce that Arch and the Brighton & Hove Frontline Network are hosting the second Homelessness & Health Conference in Brighton on Wednesday 20th November 2019.
This free event will provide a valuable opportunity for professional development, improve awareness of homelessness and the related health issues and types of support available.
Who is the conference for?
People working or volunteering with those experiencing homelessness
GP’s, surgery staff and medical teams
Anyone working or engaging with the homeless sector (project managers, local authority commissioners, local councillors etc)
What will be covered?
Practical advice and guidance from Arch clinicians and other local professionals on issues that include substance misuse, mental health and managing chronic diseases and more.
Information about Brighton & Hove services supporting the health and wellbeing of those who are homeless.
Training for GP’s, surgery staff and medical teams on issues such as managing difficult consultations, prescribing, tri-morbidity and local services.
Discussions and networking opportunities
