About this Event

Why do I need this training?

Research has shown that half of people experiencing street homelessness have brain injury, yet there is very little information in the homelessness sector about the issue.

What will I learn?

  • Basic anatomy
  • How damage may occur
  • The effects of injury to the brain
  • How to support people affected by brain injury.
  • The session will last approximately 3 hours.

Who is delivering the training?

Change Communication is collaborating with the Frontline Network to provide free training on brain injury awareness to homelessness services outside of London.

How much will it cost?

The project is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, making the training free to you. Resources will be shared on the day to help you make the most of your learning!
